Supernatural Experiences

As a living person, I know all of us had gone through that stage in our life where we experience haunting, seeing ghostly apparitions, or some other supernatural activities. Most of us can see things others can't see. Some are even fascinated by the idea that there are others living among us that they try to learn more about them and be an expert when it comes to that area or topic. And in my case, I wasn't alone when I experienced all these things. I was with my siblings and with my cousins; and all of these happened in Los Angeles, California, in a small house in La Puente.

These experiences won't be in order but, here they are in a list:

  • Summer 2008, my parents and my uncle and my aunt were having an adult talk in the kitchen while my cousins, siblings and I were at the living room spending time together. Suddenly, my Dad came running out the front door. He went towards the little door that led to the backyard. My cousins and I were confused as to what is happening when my Dad came back inside the house. While we were in Vegas, I found out that my Dad saw an apparition of a man walking by the kitchen's window and when he came out to check it out, no one was there. Hence, the nickname my cousins and I gave to that apparition: "Ulo" which is "head" in English.
  • My cousins Jed and Keith both had a dream about a guy digging up a hole in their backyard.
  • My cousin Jed's wife, Ate Joy had a dream one night about a guy who hanged himself in the backyard tree.
  • One night when my cousins and I were gathered up in Kuya Jed's room, we were talking about our experiences. Kuya Keith told us that one time, he woke up at midnight because he was feeling thirsty so he went to get a drink in the kitchen. When he was done in the kitchen and before he turned off the lights, he saw a little girl standing in the corner of the room, staring at him.
  • Kuya Jed was taking a bath at 5:30 in the morning and the faucet would randomly turn off.
  • My family and I went out one afternoon together with my uncle, aunt and my cousins and Ate Joy was left in the house because she still has some school stuff to do. She told me that she locked herself in her room because she kept on hearing footsteps and some things being moved around in the living room.
  • When my Mom and Dad came back from their short visit in Utah to check out our house, my Mom told me that once she saw a white figure walking back and forth outside the kitchen door leading to the backyard.
  • One afternoon, Kuya Lou, Ate Joy, Bianca and I were watching Paranormal Activity in the living room when the movie suddenly pauses out of nowhere. We were watching the movie in my cousin's Xbox and the controller wasn't nowhere near where we all sat. My Mom witnessed it all too and she told me that before it happened, when she was walking towards the room where we currently sleep in, she suddenly felt goosebumps and when she came back, the incident happened.
  • My Aunt Miriam had a party in her backyard for her 50th birthday and my cousins and I were busy assisting guests so basically, we were walking around the house from time to time. I had to go to the bedroom to fix myself up because I was slowly turning to look a little haggard. I came out of the room after a couple of minutes and I made sure I leave the door closed because no guests would want to see the inside of the room. I went back to the backyard and my Mom suddenly called me back inside to tell me that I left the door open. I told her I shut it closed. She scolded me for keeping the door open even though I didn't. Moments later, I had to use the bathroom and I saw that the door was once again open. And no one came in after my Mom scolded me.
  • Same day as Aunt Miriam's 50th birthday party, Ate Joy went into her room to get something and she noticed that the TV was open so she shut it down. When she came back with us after she told Bianca and I about it, the TV was open once again and Bianca and I were there to witness it.
  • When Kuya Jed's cousins from San Francisco came to Los Angeles for a visit, we were alone. Our parents were in Utah that time and my cousins' parents were away for the night and they won't be coming back 'till the next day. My cousins and I were playing Slap Jacks and the game was so good it took us 'till one in the morning. We only stopped when Ate Joy silenced us and we heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen when nobody was there and everyone else except us were already asleep.
The best part is when my cousin Jed had a psychic reading one time in the mall and believe or not, it was surprisingly accurate. The psychic said that there was a spirit that always comes with us wherever we go. One spirit was someone who recently died that was close to our family and our grandfather died just recently that time and he serves as our guardian angel, keeping the bad spirits from messing with us. Ate Joy and Ate Thyn was having a misunderstanding for almost a month and we learned that there was a spirit trying to make each and everyone of us have a misunderstanding with each other, it was trying to make us fight with each other. That same spirit also wanted to ruin the marriage of my cousin Jed and Ate Joy. Aunt Miriam and Uncle Bobby doesn't want to believe in all these crap but once they got to experience it, they have grown to believe it as well.

Another thing we learned about is about those dreams Kuya Jed, Kuya Keith and Ate Joy had and that little girl Kuya Keith saw. When Kuya Keith, Bianca, Ate Joy and I were hanging out at the kitchen we learned that an accident happened in front of the house and it almost killed the guy, but he survived giving him somehow a second life. That same guy was the one Kuya Jed and Kuya Keith saw in their dreams. The little girl, we figured, was killed by that guy and the hole he was digging was for the little girl and once he buried the girl, we figured that maybe the guy got guilty so he killed himself by hanging himself on the tree.

I got to say, these experiences would always be kept in my mind forever for I have never experienced this kind of incidents before. I hope that I won't get to experience something like these again because I've always been afraid of ghosts and it would scar me forever if I ever saw one in person.

Awkwardness Overload

My friend and I just experienced an extreme awkward moment during Tutorial a while ago. In my school, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we have this period called Tutorial where you can go to any of your 8 classes to catch up on things, but since my friend and I don't have much catching up to do, we went to the choir room instead. It's the most loved place during Tutorial because you can just chill for a whole 30 minutes before going back to an hour and a half class.

Okay so during Tutorial, there was only like five to ten minutes left and Josh and Mason were playing with this tiny ball by the door near where Kelli and I sat. Mason was trying to make the ball bounce from the floor to the door and to the floor and back to him. He did it and Josh caught it even before Mason could.

Josh did the same thing with the ball but instead of bouncing on the door, the ball bounced towards us and Kelli tried to catch it and she caught it...and Josh did too.

Kelli was just there with the ball in her hand with Josh's hand clamped over hers and the ball. Basically, they were both holding the ball causing for them to hold hands. And they were staring at each other for a while.

Mason and I were just standing there, looking at Josh and Kelli. It was probably the best moment we had with Josh and Mason but Kelli thinks that it was kind of awkward which I think would be awkward for me as well if I was in her situation.

Facebook Conversation

I have this battle going on inside my head for days now ever since this conversation happened on Facebook. It's been a long time since we last talked and chatted that's why I screen captured it. And that it was so memorable. Well, at least it's memorable for me. I just don't know to him.

Anyway, I decided to post it and just deeply blur all the names and the pictures involved in this conversation. I know some of you are thinking that I shouldn't just post it but I need a place to let it all out because I don't want to keep it inside me. That's why this blog was created in the first place. This is the place where I can just rant as long as I want. And now I am ranting.

Without any further ado, this is the screen captured conversation I had with "him."

P.S. It's in Filipino language so maybe some of you won't understand it.

I Almost Went to a Football Game with a Senior Guy!

I. Almost. Went. To. A. Football. Game. With. A. Senior!

Okay, before everything, this is how it started. One day in Health Class, there's this guy who I'm sitting with and his name is Spencer. I've been doing seatworks with him, chatting with him and then one time, he asked me:

"Are you going to the game tonight?"

"I don't know. Maybe, maybe not." I answered.

"Well...if you're going..." and then he started talking about what he's going to wear so that in case I went, I'll be able to spot him easily. And then he added: "So, if you're coming, you can sit by me or stand by me."

And then this girl in front of us, turned and smiled at Spencer.

When I got home that afternoon, my mind was in war. I don't know if I'm going or not going. And in the end, I got lazy and tired and decided not to go.

Then this evening, I was browsing through my school's planner looking for a certain someone's name (wink, wink), Spencer happened to cross my mind. As soon as I found "his" name, I immediately searched for Spencer's last name and when I found it, I was surprised with what I discovered.

He is a SENIOR!

I was like: "Whoa, I was talking to a senior guy the whole time? I ALMOST WENT TO A FOOTBALL GAME WITH A SENIOR GUY???!!!!!"

I know to some of you, it's normal but...this never happens to me a lot so, it's kind of new to me.

Mickey's Passport :)

Before we went to go on a trip to Brunei last year, my Dad surprised me once I came home from school with this!

It's my favorite Mickey Mouse doll's passport! He got a stamp at the airport. I feel like a proud mother :)

Sophomore at Northridge

Once again, I am a Sophomore. I just finished junior high last May and now that school started again, I am now attending Northridge. So, here's a story about how my first day went.

September 4, 2012, I woke up at 6:30am and got ready for school. I was so nervous. My stomach's churning, my palms are sweaty and I'm losing appetite (which is a sign that I am really getting nervous). My dad and I left at exactly 7:10am. We arrived and as I walked in, I was confident because I know where I'll be going. I went to my locker first and I had a hard time opening it up so I asked for help and Devon helped me. She got it open, finally. So I put my bag inside and just took the stuff I needed. I immediately searched for my first period class and I was told that we were supposed to go to Advisory first. And so I went in there. But my Advisory teacher said that we were supposed to go to the Gym first for the Assembly.

At the Gym, I saw my friend Kelli so we caught up with everything until the program started. We played some games and such and at the end, they wished us luck and hope that our first day would turn out to be a fun one. And it was, although my head hurts already. Before the program started, they gave us this name tags with numbers in them and they told us to go to that number because it's our Advisory number. The Seniors and Juniors in our Advisory class gave us a tour around the school and by the end, we went back to Mr. Shaffer's room. We introduced ourselves and got to know more about each other. Funny thing is, my dad's boss's son, Jordan, is in my Advisory class!

I got through the whole day without getting lost and I am happy that I already made friends on the first day of school.

What's Up?

Hey! I've been MIA for a very long time. Well, I must say, February's been very good to me. I won't tell you why because it's too embarrassing to share. But, I've been doing good. My grades are going up than they were before. I've been asked out a couple of times by my friends but...my parents still won't let me go out but my sister's having her 12th birthday and it's my only chance to invite some friends over. So yeah, I invited Amy and Tricia. Just two of my friends. My mom said I can only invite two so I cannot invite more of my friends. Too bad.

I'm not updating pretty much like every week like I usually do because school has made me busy. I'm working on my final draft of my research paper and I'm also working on my PowerPoint presentation to present my research paper. Another thing is...nothing worth blogging about has happened to my life for that long time that I was MIA but I assure you that I will blog about what happened on my sister's birthday party since Amy and Tricia are coming over.

Also, I've been going on to many concerts already. Let me tell you what, Concert Choir is really fun and enjoyable but...at the same time, it'll make you miss classes and lessons. Last February 21, the whole Concert Choir was like out for the whole school hours and we kind of like came back during 7th period which was our last period for the day. I missed a lot on Geometry. Luckily, I caught up well fast.

Then there's this two boys that I think doesn't like me like the way I like them. I won't be citing names but I know inside me who they are. They are the reason why my February and March is really great! If only I can share what my iPod journal contains. It's mostly about the two of them.

Okay, that's probably it. I'll see you again by this week or next week. See ya!

Happy 2nd Anniversary!

January 24, 2010; the day where Arriane and I got engaged on Facebook. Yes, we got engaged! And ever since that day, we started to celebrate our monthsarry every 24 and last January 24 was our 2nd anniversary. We didn't got the chance to celebrate it since she's in the Philippines while I'm here in Utah. I don't know how to tell you guys about us because no words can describe all the things we've been through. As normal best friends, we've had our ups and downs. We've had our fight when we were in Freshman and sometimes, I know that we feel kind of annoyed at each other but look at us, even though we're distance apart now, I know that we still have that special bond deep inside us. I'm gonna share with you guys some of our photos taken together. I know it's old but we don't have the chance to take pictures together anymore. Too bad.

I love you so much Bebe, Bebs, Sipguard! :*

Driving.

So my mom told me that since I'm already a 15 year old girl, I have to learn the basics in driving. She said that I have to read this and I haven't yet until now since the guy in the cover kind of bothers me. He's so... ugh, never mind!

Karma, I should say at least.

January 24, 2012
8:05 am

Well, maybe I deserved the "karma" that happened to me a while ago for not attending school yesterday. Kidding! :D

I was late for the bus and I was running like heck a while ago catching my bus but luckily, the driver was super kind he waited for me. As we all got into the school, I loaded out quickly and guess what?! Probably the most embarrassing moment of my life happened and I cannot believe that of all the people out there, I will be the no one that slipped on the ice and I was like, on the floor!!!

That was so embarrassing! :'>

Then there was these two girls who asked me if I was alright and I said yes and then I told her how embarrassing that was and she said that it was okay. Everybody sometimes slips too and the other girl wearing the pink jacket said that she almost slipped too. Boy, was she lucky she didn't slipped just like me!

Good thing those two girls are so kind because they didn't even laugh one bit. I just hope that nobody saw that or else that scene would have been stuck in my mind for ages and haunt me!

It was super embarrassing that I have to share it on my blog.

First day.

North Layton Junior High is...okay. I still cannot find that kind of "barkada" that I have back in the Philippines but I know that I'll find one. Just needs time and a lot of confidence. Anyway, it was hard keeping up with the lessons especially in Geometry. Good thing there's a lot of nice people who's always there to help me out. Well, enough of that. My first day went by smoothly, there was this girl named Natasha and she was always there to show me around, take me to my classes and picked me up after. We ate lunch together and she introduced me to her group of friends. Last period was Gym, I met Victoria (who's in my choir class too) and her friends and we kind of got along really well. Victoria asked for my number but too bad, I don't have a phone yet. Well, that's how my first day was!

Entering the parking lot of NLJH :)

An Unexpected Encounter with Mark Bautista

Just felt the need to share this. Ok, this is how the unexpected encounter with Mark Bautista happened.

We went to US Embassy maybe weeks or probably months ago. We went there because we need our visa to get approved by the Embassy since we'd be migrating to America.

We've already completed all the process and we got to the waiting area before we head inside a building where you will be interviewed.

Before we took a seat, my dad asked the guy beside us if our chosen seats are already occupied. At that moment, we all have no idea that the man in front of us was Mark Bautista and we also have no clue that the guy that my dad asked was actually one of Mark's entourage.

At first, we didn't recognize him since he's wearing shades but because I have already seen him in person, I kind of had the feeling that it was Mark. But I wasn't convinced yet, he took his shades off and then BAM! It was him.

We are always next to them; in line, seats, embassy numbers, interview windows and all because his number are just a few numbers away from ours.

We finished at what I call the "Confirmation Stage" and we transferred at the next waiting are where you have to wait for your number to be called and you'll be interviewed. We were soooooo close to them because we were just sitting behind him.

He was the first one to get called and the first one to go home. And then I remembered, they were also the ones that I saw crossing the road and our car was just parked beside theirs. What a coinscidence!

We took a trip at Yogurtland!

A while ago, we went to Yogurtland again because Ate Joy and Kuya Jed wanna let my mom to experience Yogurtland where you have to make your own yogurt. And at the door, Hello Kitty and her friends are there and they're so cute that we want a photo with them.

Playful Conversations.

I have another story to tell. This happened last February. I just got home from school and Arriane called me. She said that Adam and his friends including Albie Casino was at her house. Of course, I got all giddy. Who wouldn't be when someone cites the name of your crush?

Anyways, I heard some guys talking and laughing at the background and Arriane said that Adam was one of those guys. I asked her if I can hear Adam's voice and she said yes so she put Adam on the phone and the conversation went like this:

Adam: Hello.
Allana: *I was speechless* Where's Arriane?

So, he gave back the phone to Arriane and I got all giddy. And then, I heard someone said, "I love you!" I asked Arriane who was it and she said that it was Adam shouting at me.

I got all giddy again. During that time, I have no idea that Adam already has a girlfriend so, I had hope that we could be something :">

Mickey :">

Introducing my Mickey Mouse! He's so cute that I have to take a picture of him and post it here :)

Mama, I am inlove with a criminal ♥

He has stolen my heart. He wasn't content with my heart so he took my breath away. He kidnapped me and took me to his own world and introduced himself as my BATMAN for life :">
