Now Playing: "Who'd Have Known" by Lily Allen

A little introduction about how I know this song. It all started a while ago during school and it was second period. We were busy sewing this cute little owl pin cushion and my teacher started playing some tunes on Pandora and halfway through my sewing, I heard this song "5 o'clock" by T-Pain featuring a lot of other singers. Ha-ha. I thought it was that song but I was wrong. I started noticing that T-Pain is not singing and I realized, maybe it's a different version. A Lily Allen version. I made a mental note to myself to listen to it once I get home.

And now, I just got out of my room after at least five times of listening to the song because it was soooo good! I can't help but listen to it over and over again. I think I already have the song memorized.

Anyway, without any further ado, here is the video of the song:

Lyrics:

It's 5 o clock in the morning,
Conversation got boring,
You said you're going to bed soon,
So I snuck off to your bedroom,
And I thought i'd just wait there,
Until I heard you come up the stairs,
And I pretended I was sleeping,
And I was hoping you would creep in with me.

You put your arm around my shoulder,
It was as if the room got colder,
And we moved closer in together,
And started talking about the weather,
You said tomorow would be fun,
And we could watch A Place In The Sun,
I didn't know where this was going,
When you kissed me.

Are you mine? Are you mine?
Cos I stay here all the time,
Watching telly, Drinking wine,
Who'd have known, Who'd have known?
When you flash up on my phone,
I no longer feel alone,
No longer feel alone.

I haven't left you for days now,
And I'm becoming amazed how,
Your quite affectionate in public,
In fact your friend said it made her feel sick,
And even though it's moving forward,
There's just the right amount of awkward,
And today you accidentally,
Called me baby.

Are you mine? Are you mine?
Cos I stay here all the time,
Watching telly, Drinking wine,
Who'd have known, Who'd have known?
When you flash up on my phone,
I no longer feel alone,

Let's just stay, Let's just stay,
I wanna lie in bed all day,
We'll be laughing all the way,
You told your friends,
They all know,
That we exsist but we're taking it slow,
Lets just see how we go,
Now let's see how we go.

Now Playing: "By The Way" by Taylor Swift

Truth be told, I sing this song everyday trying to reach the right note in the chorus because for someone like me, it is hard to sing that note. Anyway, I liked this song the first time I heard it because I can relate to the lyrics and the words are just so sad. I cry every time.

Lyrics:

Had to catch my breath
When I saw you there across the room
Holding her hand
I had never guessed
That starting over would look so good on you
But here I am

Still believing there might come a day
Where we'll pick up where we left off

By the way
Your eyes are dancin'
I'd say the chances of that
Are getting slim
By the way
My heart's still breakin'
It's gonna take it a while to love again
So many things that I forgot to say
By the way

I should have let you know
All the ways you made me feel alive
I guess it's too late
So I'll just get my coat
And make my way into this breezy night
Give you one last wave

Maybe you'll drop what you're doing
Come over here and say I'm looking good

But by the way
Your eyes are dancin'
I'd say the chances of that
Are getting slim
By the way
My heart's still breakin'
It's gonna take it a while to love again
So many things that I forgot to say

By the way
You still look amazing
And I must have been crazy to let you get away
But by the way
If you ever wondered
I still got the same old number
Just in case

I still miss you
And I still love you
By the way

By the way
Oooohhh

The lyrics are just so sad, aren't they? Yeah, I agree. Did I already mention how this song makes me cry every time I hear it. Yeah? Okay. Anyway, I hope you listened to it.

Now Playing: "Light Years" by Mica Javier

There's this song that I've been super addicted to ever since I heard it. It's called "Light Years" by Mica Javier. She's an upcoming Filipino singer and her song was heard on Glee. The lyrics are very adorable although I always have a hard time singing the chorus because of my vocal range but I'm trying to do it. I'm practicing, if you must know. Anyway, just play the video below and give the song a listen.

Lyrics:

Seems like I'm so far
Burning cold like a star
I gotta find my sanity
I hit rock bottom thanks to gravity
Will it ever get better?
Am I stuck here forever?
Living under thunderstorms
Searching for a place called home

I gotta go and I cannot wait
Hey, I'm looking for a place called home
Don't know how but I'll find a way
Ey, I'm looking for a place that's

Three thousand light years away
Feels like it's forever
Seems like yesterday
That we were blowing up stars together
This world just ain't the same
I miss the cosmic weather
I'll find a way
These light years away

I'm ready for my destination
In another generation
In that life, I'm not afraid to fly
And white diamonds sparkle up the sky
I gotta get going
No matter if the doors are closing
When I get there I'ma sing a song
That'll sound like angels in the dawn

I gotta go and I cannot wait
Hey, I'm looking for a place called home
Don't know how but I'll find a way
Ey, I'm looking for a place that's

Three thousand light years away
Feels like it's forever
Seems like yesterday
That we were blowing up stars together
This world just ain't the same
I miss the cosmic weather
I'll find a way
These light years away

I gotta get home now
I gotta get home now

I'm running out of time down here
Does anybody here my cry?
My energy is sending distress calls
Aren't we really all?

Try'na get
Three thousand light years away
Feels like it's forever
Seems like yesterday
That we were blowing up stars together
This world just ain't the same
I miss the cosmic weather
I'll find a way
These light years away

Three thousand light years away
Feels like it's forever
Seems like yesterday
That we were blowing up stars together
This world just ain't the same
I miss the cosmic weather
I'll find a way
These light years away

Seems like I'm so far
Burning cold like a star
I gotta find my sanity
I hit rock bottom thanks to gravity
