September 4, 2012, I woke up at 6:30am and got ready for school. I was so nervous. My stomach's churning, my palms are sweaty and I'm losing appetite (which is a sign that I am really getting nervous). My dad and I left at exactly 7:10am. We arrived and as I walked in, I was confident because I know where I'll be going. I went to my locker first and I had a hard time opening it up so I asked for help and Devon helped me. She got it open, finally. So I put my bag inside and just took the stuff I needed. I immediately searched for my first period class and I was told that we were supposed to go to Advisory first. And so I went in there. But my Advisory teacher said that we were supposed to go to the Gym first for the Assembly.
At the Gym, I saw my friend Kelli so we caught up with everything until the program started. We played some games and such and at the end, they wished us luck and hope that our first day would turn out to be a fun one. And it was, although my head hurts already. Before the program started, they gave us this name tags with numbers in them and they told us to go to that number because it's our Advisory number. The Seniors and Juniors in our Advisory class gave us a tour around the school and by the end, we went back to Mr. Shaffer's room. We introduced ourselves and got to know more about each other. Funny thing is, my dad's boss's son, Jordan, is in my Advisory class!
I got through the whole day without getting lost and I am happy that I already made friends on the first day of school.
